Devizes Badminton Club

New members welcome

Devizes Badminton Club is always pleased to welcome new players of all standards and ages.  Juniors are very welcome and can attend our popular junior coaching sessions.

We are a friendly badminton club offering social and league badminton

Club night is Monday, from 7:30 to 10pm

We play in the Devizes School gym.  This is located on the Devizes School site to the left of the Leisure Centre (down a couple of steps and turn left).     We have exclusive use of the gym (which is great) but can only use it during normal school term.

We have two courts and play with feather shuttles.  The first visit is free for prospective members.

Level of play: New members of intermediate or club standard are always welcome. We are also very happy to welcome players returning to the game after a long absence - it's surprising how it all comes back very quickly!  However, we would recommend that complete beginners start off with some coaching, for example at an evening class.  However, all levels of junior (aged 6 to 16) are welcome to the junior coaching sessions (6:30 to7:30pm on Mondays during school term).

The normal season is from September to April.  We then run a summer club from after Easter to the start of the school summer holidays.
